We currently serve a broad range of clients throughout many industries, including restaurants, construction, engineering, local marketing, consulting firms, food manufacturing and cosmetology.
Starting in early years in elementary school, Nicholas Harney was and still is always the first person to go to when the computer systems were not working. During his middle school years, Nicholas spent his time working for the Technology Department at Dwyer Middle School in Huntington Beach California replacing hard drives with SSD’s and provisioning the school systems with updated software.
Throughout his high school years, Nicholas managed several Amazon Web Services cloud virtual machines for a startup company supporting a patented audio messaging application. He also migrated a company PBX phone system supporting 25+ phone lines. During this time, Nicholas also managed an online E-Commerce platform, managing regular social media platforms and contributing with distributors of the products.
While attending University, Nicholas had the opportunity to work as a Systems Engineer in a variety of different IT environments. These include providing diagnostic remote support to users, enabling cybersecurity features such as 2 Factor Authentication for clients, and performing Office 365 migrations for large numbers of users. He also virtualized physical servers into virtual machines (VMs) and updated systems regularly as needed.
In early 2022, Nicholas started working for a company that provides Internet Connectivity to the rural areas of Catalina Island. He currently manages the network infrastructure, ISP Network Endpoints, Cyber Security systems, and billing system for paid users of the wireless networks. Nicholas is a Google certified CBRS Certified Professional Installer which allows the deployment of radio towers for users of mobile cellular networks.
Throughout his several roles and experiences, Nicholas has learned an extensive and intimate understanding of the IT world and extensive knowledge of platforms such as Microsoft Windows, Macintosh, Linux, Firewalls and Network security systems.
Nicholas formed Nickologic LLC to continue his passion to provide IT technical support and solutions to local businesses in and around the Orange County area. Nicholas continues to do what he as always done, which is to follow his passion to help people with their technology needs – which is what he knows and what he does best.
